Where should I start?

Set up your Facilities and your Predefined Measures first, then record your first measure. New here? Use the Start tour button in the app's Help Center for a guided walkthrough.

How does CarbonGPT calculate my emissions?

Each measure is based on a predefined measure that carries an emission factor. CarbonGPT multiplies your activity data (litres of fuel, kWh, km, …) by that factor to produce tCO₂e for you.

Can I collect data from people who don’t have an account?

Yes. Use Requests to send a form to colleagues or vendors — they fill it in with no login, and their submissions come back to you as measures once approved.

Can I import data in bulk instead of entering it row by row?

Yes. When creating a measure in Measures you can Upload Excel instead of typing rows, and Facilities support bulk entry too.

Who can see and edit our data?

Access is controlled by Roles (role-based permissions). Invite people under Users and give each a role that grants exactly the actions they need — each person only sees the modules their role allows.

What’s the difference between Measures and the S&G Tracker?

Measures track greenhouse-gas emissions (carbon). The S&G Tracker records any other sustainability / ESG metric over time — such as training hours or incidents.

My dashboard is empty — why?

The Dashboard is calculated from the measures you’ve recorded. Once you create measures, your Scope 1/2/3 totals and charts populate automatically.
