How to build your catalogue
1. Import the standard set
Click Import Defaults to pull in CarbonGPT's ready-made predefined measures, grouped under Scope 1, 2 and 3 — the fastest way to get started.
2. Open a group to inspect its measures
Click any group to expand it and see the predefined measures inside, each with the emission factor it uses.
3. Create your own group
Click + New group to open the group editor. Give it a name, choose its Scope and Category, and decide whether it applies to all facilities.
4. Add a predefined measure to it
In the group's Predefined Measures panel, pick existing measures from the dropdown, or click + Create new predefined measure to build one — give it a name to get started.
5. Choose its emission factor
Click Select Emission Factor and drill down Sector → Activity → Emission Factor (or search by name) — this is what converts activity data into tCO₂e. Confirm, then Create Predefined Measure and it is ready to use whenever you record a measure.
